What is your guarantee policy?

I am very grateful for your purchase and support of LaVietnamita Store. I love my customers and strive with my very best effort to make my products tough as nails. With that said I recognize I am working with leather and thread and sometimes despite my best effort in sourcing the highest quality materials, things can still potentially break. I know you spent your hard earned money to support my little store and enjoy my wonderful products for years to come. As such I warrant this product against defects in material and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance for the life of my leather handmade goods.

All items are guaranteed for life if damage occurs through the fault of the craftsmanship when used under normal conditions and for the purpose intended. I will cover return shipping costs, just send it to me for a free repair (or replacement).

This lifetime warranty covers faults in materials and workmanship and doesn't apply if damage is caused by unreasonable use.

What that means is LaVietnamita will repair or replace any part of the product found to be defective. Any item(s) approved for return by LaVietnamita must be shipped with a prepaid return label so I can get it back to you. If I can fix it, I will do that. If it's irreparable, I will replace it.

Please note that leather colors and finishes used in my products will change from time to time as will styles and branding/logos. In the event I no longer carry the product purchased from my store, I will provide a store credit of equal value of the original purchase.

And it’s also possible that I may have accidentally shipped you a wrong package, or even the wrong colors. After all, we’re only humans. I am happy to correct the mistake. Complete the form with the details and I will get you squared away.

I want you to have the peace of mind that my products will stand the test of time. However the test of time does not include using my camera straps as wrenches, or my wallets as oven mitts or frisbees, or taking your beautiful leather goods scuba diving. Also this lifetime limited warranty does not include charges connected with shipping, freight, custom fees, or duties to ship products.

Will I receive a confirmation number when I place my order?

Absolutely! Upon placing your order, you will receive an order number for reference. If for any reason, you do not receive one within 24 hours, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Who can I contact if I have a problem with my order?

Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re here to assist you every step of the way. For any inquiries or issues regarding your order, feel free to contact me directly at contact@lavietnmita.store. I’m available Mon-Sat between 10:00 to 17:00 (WST) to address your concerns promptly.

How about the delivery method and shipping fee?

We offer free domestic shipping for all orders over € 85.

All orders will be dispatched through Bpost, PostNL, DHL or GLS. Depending on their services and prices. We select the cheapest option to keep costs down.

I just placed an order, how can I add more items in the previous order to save shipping cost?

If your order has not been shipped, you can place a new order and select the pick-up option to avoid paying additional shipping fees. After placing the new order, kindly send us an email to remind us to shop both orders together.

How long will it take for my items to arrive?

It depends on the product and order status, but made-to-order products (all products not marked as "immediate delivery" are made to order) will be shipped approximately 2 days to 14 days after the order, depending on the demand seasons . For custom-made products, it may take 1 week or more to produce. Details about the delivery time will be provided at the time of ordering.

Limited collections marked as "immediate delivery" are limited to one item in stock. They will be shipped within 3 business days.

If you would like to give it as a gift or have a request for "I want it by this date" for use, please let us know when you contact us.

We cannot guarantee that we can meet your request, but it may be possible depending on the production status.

We understand the importance of timely delivery. Here’s a estimate breakdown of our delivery timeline:

Order Cutoff Time: 06:00 PM

Order Handling Time: 1 - 2 Days

Transit Time: 2 - 4 working days in Belgium, Nederland and Germany

                      5 - 7 working days the rest of Europe

                      10 - 20 working days the rest of the world

I work diligently to get your order to you as quickly as possible so you can get your product without delay.

How long will a personalised product take?

I strive to make all of my products with care and by hand. A personalised product will normally take around 2 weeks to make and send to you after that.

Can I pick up my order?

Sure! Please type in “ PICK UP” in the Note session when checking out.

What kind of information will the recipient receive?

Once you purchase the gift card, the recipient then gets an email with the subject line "You just got a gift card from "Sender's Name". The email contains the recipient's name, sender's personal message & name, a unique gift card code, gift card amount and expiration date.

Notes:

If the sender or the recipient's email address is already in our system, the name that appears in the recipient email is the one saved in our contact list.

Are you a single craftsman or a company?

I am a single craftsman in LaVietnamita Store, but my husband would help me with customer service when I am out of reach.

How do recipients redeem gift cards?

To redeem the gift card, the recipient heads over to our website and finds items to purchase. During payment, select the Redeem a gift card option and enter the unique gift card code.

If the price of the sale is worth more than the value of the card, the gift card recipient can pay for the remaining cost using their own card.

What if the recipient’s order value is lower than the gift card?

The remaining balance will be stored in the recipient's unique gift card. They only need to use the balance before the gift card expires.

Can I purchase a new gift card to someone else by redeeming a gift card?

No, this is not allowed on our website.
